Ingredients for Nan Khatai

Wheat flour 3/4 cup
All purpose flour  1/4 cup
Sugar 1/2 cup
Ghee , melted 1/2 cup
Cardamom 1
Baking powder – 1 pinch
Pistachios, for decoration 10

Atta 3/4 cup
Maida 1/4 cup
Cheeni 1/2 cup
Ghee 1/2 cup, pighla hua
Elachi 1
Baking powder 1 chutki
Pista, for decoration 10

Preheat oven to 180°C.In a mixer, place sugar along with elachi and powder it. Transfer to a mixing bowl.In the same mixer, coarsely powder pistachios, keep aside. Add wheat flour and fine flour in sugar along with baking powder. Mix well. Add ghee little by little rubbing as you add. You may not need all, may be 1 tblsp you can reserve. You should add ghee to form a dough. No water. Using 2 teaspoons of dough at a time, roll dough into balls. Press a little bit. Place on baking trays lined with baking paper. Add a pinch of powdered pistachio over it. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until light golden. Allow to cool on tray for 5 minutes. Transfer these nan khatai to wire rack to cool completely. Serve.

Oven ko 180°C pr pehlay sai garm krain. Baking tray pr butter paper rakhain. Mixer mai cheeni aur elaichi ka powder bna lain aur bowl main daal lain. Usi mixer mai Pista ko gring kr lain aur alag rakh dain. Atta aur maida ko cheeni  mai shamil krain aur baking powder bhi shamil krain. Achi trha mix krain. Thora thora kr k ghee shamil krain aur hath sai maltay jayain. Ghee ko pani ki jaga dough bnanay k liye istmal krain.  . 2 teaspoon mixture ko lai kr us k balls bna lain aur halka sa press kr kai baking tray pr rakhtay jayain. Is pr thora sa pista daalain. 12 sai 15 minutes k liye bake krain ya phr jb tk halka golden ho jaye. Tray pr 5 minute k liye thanda krain. Nan Khatai ko wire rack pr mukamal thanda honay dain aur serve krain.
