Dry Fruit Pulao


Ingredients for Dry Fruit Pulao

2 cups grained white rice
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
l/2 cup chironji, coarsely ground
Almonds, chopped
Pistachios, chopped
1 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
1/2 tsp saffron, soaked in 1 tsp milk
4 cups milk
In Roman Urdu
2 cups safaid chawal
2 cups cheni
1 cup oil
l/2 cup chironji pisi hoi
Badaam pisay huye
Pista pis hua
1 tsp ilaichi powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
1/2 tsp zafraan doodh mai bhigo lain
4 cups doodh
Cooking Method of Dry Fruit Pulao
Direction In English
Soak rice in water for 2 hours and then drain the water. Heat the oil and add the drained rice along with milk.
Cover and cook on a low fire stirring occasionally but gently so that the rice grains do not break.
When rice is about to cook, add the cardamom and nutmeg powders, dry fruits, sugar and saffron and mix well. Serve tasty dry fruit pulao.
